Interested’s V1 is trying a different near-you story.

When location lands, it is not a beauty contest with GPS. The idea is simple: people near you who already overlap on interests, presented in a swipe-style flow you can move through quickly — still anonymous, still free.

That matters in dense Indian cities where “nearby” is overloaded. You do not need five hundred strangers within two kilometers. You need the few who care about the same niche you do.

Club rooms: lock in on your schedule

Club rooms are the other half of V1.

You opt into a window — day-wise or hour-wise, customizable — and Interested randomly clubs people who share an interest into a room. The room is temporary by design. The identity stays hidden unless you choose otherwise.

It is closer to a locked study circle or a late-night debate pod than a permanent group chat that dies under unread badges.

Free video, on your terms

Sometimes text is enough. Sometimes the conversation wants a face or a voice.

V1 includes free video calls without turning the whole product into a performance stage. You go live when the thread asks for it — not because an algorithm wants watch time.

The surprise sync-up

There is also a quick sync-up format: meet random people at a random location for a short game-like meetup. Details stay intentionally thin for now. The point is serendipity with interest overlap — not a forced networking mixer.

Surprises only work if the base trust is already there. That is why V0 ships first: anonymous matching and encrypted chat before anyone asks you to show up IRL.
