Why Interested Starts With Anonymous Interest Matching
Follower counts trained India to perform. Interested ships the opposite first: fill your interests, get matched, talk anonymously — free unlimited chats, encrypted by design.
Most social apps ask who you are before they ask what you care about.
Name. Face. School. Follower count. Then, maybe, a bio line about music or politics that nobody reads because the photo already decided the conversation.
Interested flips that order on purpose.
V0 is not a teaser. It is the product thesis
At launch, Interested is built around a short loop:
- You fill interests.
- The system matches you with people who share them.
- You talk in anonymous threads and chats.
- Your data stays encrypted. Your identity stays yours.
No public stage. No scoreboard. Free unlimited chats for early wishlisters who claim an Interested ID before the invite-only open on 15 August 2026.
That is V0 — the anonymous core. Everything later (location, club rooms, video, mega launch) sits on top of this idea: the interest is the introduction, not the afterthought.
Why matching beats browsing strangers
Feeds trained us to scroll past people. Matching asks a simpler question: who else is awake to the same thing you are?
In India that matters. Campus politics, late-night cinema arguments, startup rabbit holes, football clubs, quiet queer corners, exam anxiety — whole worlds that do not want a permanent public exhibit. An interest match is a handshake without a name tag.
If you have ever felt more honest in a group chat than on your main profile, you already understand the product.
Encrypted is not a buzzword here
Anonymous apps fail when anonymity becomes a costume for chaos. Interested treats encryption and community standards as part of the same promise: you can speak freely and the room stays livable.
Fully anonymous does not mean consequence-free. It means your real-world identity is not the price of entry.
What comes after V0
The roadmap is public on the homepage under Why Interested:
- V1 — location-based discovery, club rooms with day/hour lock-ins, free video, and a surprise sync-up format.
- V2 — Interest DNA, ghost drops, tribe radar.
- V3 — the mega launch: wider unlock for India, early cohort still free.
You do not need every version on day one. You need the foundation to be honest. That is why Interested starts with anonymous threads and interest matching — not with a louder algorithm.
Claim an ID if you want to be inside when the gate opens. The early list is the product’s first room.
